I tried to post from my phone yesterday while I was in transit to a Mets game but the link that I was trying to share wouldn’t work so I gave up. We’re in the home stretch with only a week to go so I’ll continue on but I don’t know how many more prompts I’m planning to follow. Yesterday was such a beautiful day. My sister’s here visiting for the week so we took advantage of the perfect weather and went into the city. Get ready for photo overload…
Parker has taken quite the interest in photography and was snapping pictures all day.
Lunch in Little Italy.
Our first time crossing the Brooklyn bridge.
The carousel from Idora Park in Youngstown (we told the boys Grandpa used to ride this when he was little!)
I want to live in DUMBO.
So tired we needed to stop for a rest in the park.
Ruby saying “hi!” to everyone she sees.
But not too tired to play tag.
Apparently, Parker cheated.
Everyone was beat tired.
On our way to Queens sans kids!
It would be a lot cooler if it were Shea stadium.
It was a really long and tiring day and there were several times when I lost my patience (even with Josh – sorry buddy). But the experiences that our kids have and things they see and learn, just from going into Manhattan, are worth the few stressful moments.
