Day 30: The Naturebox!

Last week I read a blog review on the Naturebox and thought it sounded like such a great concept. It’s basically a mail delivered subscription of snacks. Snacks delivered right to your doorstep. Um, yes please!  IMG_3699

Even better is the fact that the snacks they send you (the first box is a mixup of their best sellers and afterwards you get to customize it) are all natural.

A lot of the ingredients are organic as well.

We don’t really keep “snacks” in our house. Usually we snack on fruit, cheese sticks or nuts but a lot of times Josh
we end up going out at night once the kids are in bed to pick something up. As you can probably guess, usually that something is not very healthy. When I heard of Naturebox, I though it would be an interesting way to change up our snacking and give us healthier options than the ice cream we usually settle on. There was a coupon code so I ended up getting 5 good sized bags shipped to my house for $10! The box arrived today and aside from the actual food itself, the experience of having the mailman deliver a box full of goodies made Theo and I giggle. 🙂

We were sent banana bread granola (awesome), Taj Mahal snack mix which is a mix of dried fruits and nuts seasoned with Indian spices (surprisingly excellent. I’m not a fan of garam masala but this mixture is perfect), Lemon Meringue Waffles (not my favorite because of the lack of lemon flavor but Ruby loves them), whole wheat raspberry figgy bars (similar to fig newtons. perfection) and Italian bistro pretzels (I was worried Josh wouldn’t like anything from the box but we both think these are incredible. seriously some of the best pretzels I’ve ever had). Whether or not we’ll continue on with our subscription (just like any other, unless you cancel your membership, your card automatically gets charged and you are sent a new Naturebox once a month) I’m still not sure. It depends on a few different things but I am definitely going to explore their products a little more now.

If you’re interested in trying it out, check out my Facebook page for a link that will give you $5 off your first box!
